For more than a 100 years, The American Cancer Society has been leading the fight to end cancer. With your support, we have helped usher in an era where more people survive cancer than ever before. By translating our research findings into action, we've seen a 20% decline in US cancer death rates since the early 1990s. Join us to help finish the fight.

5th Annual Coaches vs. Cancer MN Tip-Off Reception

Join us at the American Cancer Society’s 5th annual Coaches vs. Cancer Minnesota Tip-Off Reception!  The evening will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Interlachen Country Club and will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a reception that includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, photo opportunities with the team, a unique live auction and special guest speaker.  It is estimated that more than 30,560 people in Minnesota will be diagnosed with cancer – that’s more than 84 people every day.  Coach Pitino is dedicated to beating this terrible disease, and he wants YOU on his team.  Last year, Coaches vs. Cancer Minnesota raised $100,000 to support the American Cancer Society’s mission to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer. The American Cancer Society has invested more than $4.6 billion in research since 1946.  Currently $8.63 million is invested in Research Grants in Minnesota, including 14 active Society grants at the University of Minnesota totaling over $7.75 million!

The success of this event is not possible without the generous contributions of corporate and individual supporters each year, and that is why we ask you to consider joining us in becoming a sponsor. Your presence at the Coaches vs. Cancer Minnesota Tip-Off Reception will make a positive statement to the entire state of Minnesota and significantly highlight your commitment to the lifesaving work conducted by the American Cancer Society. Through your support, you will lead the way in helping to diminish suffering from cancer, raise awareness of cancer prevention, foster innovation and research, and inspire generosity until a cure is found.
